Each bead is individually hand-knotted on cord, and the necklace is fitted with a lobster clasp, likely a later replacement. The amber has good translucency with natural variation throughout, ranging from pale honey to deeper brandy hues. The beads are gently graduated, giving the necklace a harmonious balance and fluid line when worn. Measuring approximately 53cm in length and weighing 12.2 grams, it sits comfortably at collarbone level and wears well either alone or layered.
