French faience blue and white fish platter signed Longwy, circa 1900. Measures: 21.5" L x 8.5" W x 1.5" H.

Rare 19th century Majolica fish heads oyster plate from North of France (Onnaing unsigned). Reference: Page 130 "Collecting oysters plates" of J. Snyder.

This colorful Majolica pitcher was sculpted in Saint Clement, France, circa 1890; named "Le Canard Sortant de l'Oeuf", the charming ceramic olive oil jug with spout thru the mouth and top cork, is in the shape of a colorful young duck exiting an egg shell. The oil recipient is hand painted with a small duckling chasing a butterfly. The jug, stamped on the bottom "Saint Clement France", is in excellent condition with rich patinated colors in the blue, green and yellow palette.
