Both chairs are raised on oak feet and finished with brass castors. The castors can be removed easily if the chairs need to sit flat on the floor. The armchairs have been fully restored and stripped back to the solid oak frame for upholstery with a new coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added before being finished in velvet upholstery.
