Aboriginal Painting Bush Medicine Leaves Dreaming Abie Loy
By Abie Loy
Located in Atlanta, GA
A lovely Aboriginal contemporary painting by Abie Loy depicting Medicine leaves in Dreamtime. The alternating burnt orange and white dots contrast each other on the black background, a haze of orange mini-dots further providing a shifting visual effect that is subtle and mysterious. Barbera 'OSSO' Oval Dining Table, Modern Solid Bronze Base with Stone Top
By Daniel Barbera
Located in Melbourne, Victoria
Designed by Daniel Barbera, the 'OSSO' oval table is a minimal yet organism life inspired form. The four-legged cast solid bronze base is rough cast and lightly worked to show the honesty of the process, but this can also be hand finished to a smooth mirror polish with the option of a satin or blackened bronze. This table base is mated to a Baltic brown granite stone top with a texture finish. Other varieties of stone and timber are also available. The size of this bronze square table...

Totemic Head Sculpture Unsigned by Jencik, Melbourne, 1998
By Paul Jencik
Located in Melbourne, AU
Another wonderful marble sculpture with an intriguing provenance. Unsigned. Part of a series by Paul Jencik, circa 1998-2001.
This ‘totemic head’ sculpture is carved from a single block of marble in a snowy white. It’s the remaining head from a much larger totemic sculpture, the base now lost. This figurative face can be interpreted in many ways. Jencik references human, animal and natural forms but never quite allows us to reach a conclusion about the origins of his creations.
Jencik was a welder, boat builder and metal worker with a strong creative instinct but without the opportunity or artistic training that would afford his work any recognition. He created a large series of marble and timber sculptures...

Impasto Oil Painting Floral Still Life 1960s style of William Dobell
Located in Melbourne, AU
An excellent and very stylish impasto oil on board of Ranunculus flowers in an urn vase. The expressionist impasto paint application is fascinating. Clearly the work of a competent colourist. It really evokes the texture of Ranunculas flowers, their weight and the vibrancy of their colour.
Unsigned, dating from the 1960s. The style is Expressionist. It reminds us of the work of William Dobell...

Marc Newson Red 'Gello' Table Made for Les 3 Suisses in 1994, Original Box
By Marc Newson

The Gello was only produced for a very short time and only a limited quantity few are left in existence.
An extraordinary clever design.
As a mail-order product the table needed to be ultra lightweight and easy to assemble. Newson designed the table in three very simple parts, choosing a high frequency welded PVC plastic sheet for the base, a piece of plastic tubing to hold it together and a vacuum formed polystyrene for the top.
