The Alchemical symbol for fire is a triangle, point rising like a flame.
Channeling the soaring energy of the triangle, ARCHIMEDES embodies a composite cement base, a triangular brass structure protrudes into the air, paying homage to the alchemical symbol for fire.
ARCHIMEDES A brass triangle springs from a concrete base, LED light sets the triangle blazing, transforming metal into fire.

Christopher Boots Studio:
Established 11-11-11, the Christopher Boots studio was founded on material and metaphysical exploration of quartz crystal, birthing a signature aesthetic. Exploring relationships between architecture, symbology and geometry found in nature offers a contemporary interpretation of pattern, structure and symmetry.
All works are handmade with love and care, with a diverse team of skilled artisans. Collaborations with glass blowers, coppersmiths, ceramicists, sculptors, and bronze casters, ensures a commitment to quality and underscores an investigative sensibility, giving birth to an aesthetic often unexpected.
We design, prototype and build in our Melbourne studios, honouring traditional elements of form, proportion and scale, marrying traditional and cutting edge materials with various techniques, creating future antiques designed for transforming architecture.
Collaborating with architects, interior designers and private clients fuels the dialogue between the worlds we all transverse.
