Vintage Southwestern Serape Blanket in Ivory, Tan, Orange & Black Band Pattern

Handwoven in Mexico, this kilim reflects the rich cultural heritage of Southwestern weaving and is part of our curated Americana Collection. Its flat-weave construction and bold color palette make it ideal for use as a floor rug, wall hanging, or decorative textile, adding warmth, texture, and a sense of tradition to any space. Organic Modern Chandelier Lost-Wax Bronze Vintage Finish White Porcelain Globes
By Isabel Moncada
Located in San Antonio, TX
MARATUS chandelier was designed for the Mol collection by Mexican artist Isabel Moncada. Maratus gets its name from a spider that displays an extravagant peacock-like tail to hypnotize prey with its mesmerizing pattern. In a subtly disorganized way, it is circular and symmetric, so it looks great over round tables of regular size. It uses a low-watt LED light that lasts up to 18 years and saves 90% of energy consumption. Cast bronze with vintage finish pieces, 12 lights with handmade porcelain globes...

Genaro Alvarez Mosaic Glass Tile Cocktail Table Mexico, circa 1955
By Genaro Alvarez
Located in Camden, ME
Classic glass tile mosaic coffee table from the Mexico City Studio of the noted artist Genaro Alvarez dating from the mid-1950s. There are three different compositional designs in the creation of this mosaic top. The first is the abstract pictorial of a universe of white, crème and grey surrounding a "Black Hole" with a galaxy of yellow and black swirling along its serpentine "lariat" of a double ended orbit path marked by gold tiles. The second is the consistent placement of the background tiles in concise repetitive patterns of concentric half circular arcs. The third is the placement of gold mirrored tiles adding points of sparkle over the entire surface as the intersection points of a grid, a very interesting and sophisticated addition. The integration of these three design elements adds an unexpected complexity and cohesion to the overall composition. Genaro Alvarez is recognized as one Mexico's great mid century masters of mosaic design of his era and had an international reputation and clientele with several major architectural installations here in the United States. From Don Shoemaker dot com. "One artist that was recognized for his mosaic furniture creations is Genaro Alvarez. The Genaro Alvarez Studio, (located in Mexico City) was known for its mosaic work in murals and floor designs as well as decorative furnishings such as lamps, trays and furniture using various types of natural rocks...

Handmade Mexican Chuspata Natural Fiber Solid Oak Wood Chair Contemporary
By Estrella Mora Zamorano
Located in Queretaro, Queretaro
Mexican architect Estrella Zamorano's collection "was born with the intention of returning the identity of Mexico's history to design, creating links between artisans and designers, so that working together we can weave a future respectful of ancestral techniques, as well as being an engine for the economic development of the communities that continue to work in an artisanal way," as she mentions in the interview. This fresh bench is woven with a vegetable fiber called "Chuspata" which grows around the lake of Patzcuaro and is characterized by its durability and beauty. By partnering with local communities in Michoacan, Mexico, Estrella collaborates with artisans from Pátzcuaro in the state of Michoacán to create durable, contemporary, and resistant furniture. The chair's versatility makes it perfect for many uses, as a dining room chair, corner chair, side chair or even lounge chair. All the lumber wood...
