Black Sheepskin Rug, Black Icelandic Shaggy Long Wool
By Emily Barbara
Located in Dural, AU
This sheepskin rug can be custom made to any size. Please check stock for this listing and enquire for pricing for a customized rug in natural edge, straight edge, or round rug designs.
This natural black sheepskin rug is handcrafted using fine quality long wool Icelandic sheepskin. With a rustic feel and an inviting shaggy appearance, this rug will add cosy elements to any interior. The black wool is the original sheep fleece with an eco-tanning process preserving the organic and natural color tones and markings found in the wool, therefore brown undertones may be present with natural high lights and streaks throughout the fleece.
With an incredible long wool pile raging between 8-20 cm (5-8 inches) in length, this irresistible shaggy sheepskin rug will make a statement.
Sheepskin qualities are underestimated, as they are cool in the summer as its hollow fibre absorbs heat and releases the heat over seven times faster than a synthetic fibre while in the colder months its warming properties keep us snuggle and warm.
At eluxury home, the Icelandic sheepskins we use for this rug are carefully sourced directly from Europe, using only natural by-product and eco-friendly processing, without the use of harsh and toxic chemicals that are damaging to the environment and humans. Our premium selection of Icelandic sheepskins allows our sheepskin rugs to be sustainable and are a safer and healthier flooring option for everyone to enjoy.
Each Icelandic sheepskin area rug crafted will be unique as no two sheepskin rugs will ever be identical or exactly the same. The irregular rug...

Monumental Signed Shunichi Inoue White and Rose Ash Glazed Vase 1978
By Shunichi Inoue
Located in Melbourne, AU
A wonderful example of the work of master Japanese potter, Shunichi Inoue. This vessel dates from his Australian residency.
We love the potency of this very simple form - it has a powerful presence, connoting stillness, composure. For some reason it makes me think of the moon. It has the same still, calm, abiding presence.
Shunichi Inoue studied ceramics at Kyoto City University of Arts 1969-75. He travelled to Australia to lecturer in ceramics at the Bendigo College of Advanced Education in Victoria, Australia where he stayed for three years.
He returned to Australia in late 1984 as a visiting professor and again in 1993, when he made an extended stay.
He was an active exhibitor and had an important influence on Australian pottery...

James Bond 'Moonraker' Original Vintage Australian Daybill Movie Poster, 1979
Located in Devon, GB
Capitalising on the sci-fi space craze in the wake of 'Star Wars,' EON Productions opted to postpone filming 'For Your Eyes Only' in favour of loosely adapting Ian Fleming's 'Moonraker' as the eleventh instalment in the James Bond series. And so Roger Moore's fourth outing as agent 007 saw him head into outer space to prevent a plot to wipe out the world population and recreate humanity with a master race. Despite production costs more than double those of 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977), the space-age lark became the highest grossing 007 movie to date, until usurped by 'Goldeneye' in 1995. The Australian Daybill poster featured the same spectacular silvery artwork by American artist Daniel Goozee as the British and US poster campaigns, which pictured Bond in a spacesuit rather than his typical tux.
Although a similar format, Australian day bills are significantly rarer than US insert posters.
