8 Kai Kristiansen Mid-Century Modern Model 31 Danish Teak Dining Chairs
By Kai Kristiansen, Schou Andersen Møbelfabrik
Located in Chattanooga, TN
Stunning set of eight Kai Kristiansen Danish Teak Chairs. The Model #31 chairs were designed by Kristiansen and produced by Schou Andersen. Each chair stands as a work of art, captivating the eye from every angle. The crescent shaped back and angled legs are similar to that of a compass chair… named so because it resembles the tool. The back legs flare inward slightly and are reminiscent of Kristiansen’s #42 chairs. These chairs have been updated with new taupe upholstery. These heirloom quality Danish chairs are sure to elevate your collection. Consider pairing these with one our Danish teak dining tables and credenzas (sold separate). 19.5” Wide x 18.5” Deep x 29.5” Height (17.5” seat height) Condition: New upholstery. Chair frames are original. There are some scratches on some of the legs and arm spanners. About Kai Kristiansen: Danish furniture designer best known for his smooth and geometric Mid-Century Modern cabinets, tables, and dining chairs. Working in oak, teak, and rosewood, the designer produced popular, pioneering pieces including the FM Wall Unit...

Set of 6 Model 77 by Niels O. Møller for JL Møllers Møbelfabrik, Denmark, 1960's
By Niels Otto Møller
Located in Deland, FL
Enhance your dining space with this exquisite set of six chairs designed by Niels O. Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, featuring the iconic and rare Model 77 dining chair. Crafted from solid old growth teak wood, these chairs exemplify the timeless elegance and superior craftsmanship of Danish Modern design. The seats have been re-corded by the previous owner using a more open, unlaced weaving technique, adding a unique and contemporary touch to the classic design. If this style of cording does not suit your taste, please message us prior to checkout to discuss your re-cording or reupholstery options. This set of chairs is a perfect blend of form and function, making it a sophisticated addition to any dining area. Niels Otto Moller was a Danish furniture designer, known for his modern and functional designs. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and went on to work for various furniture manufacturers, including J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, where he designed the Model 80 Dining Chairs. J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik was a Danish furniture manufacturer, founded in 1944 by Jorgen Langkilde Moller. The company was known for producing high-quality furniture in the Danish Modern style, using materials such as teak and oak. The company was in operation until the late 1970s. We currently only have these six Model 77 chairs in stock and when they sell they're gone forever. Make them yours today! ---Dimensions--- Width: 19.5 in / 49.53 cm Depth: 19.5 in / 49.53 cm Height: 30 in / 76.2 cm Seat Height: 18 in / 45.72 cm This set of ultra-rare model 77 Møller dining chairs has undergone some minor repairs over the years. The most involved repair includes dowls and can be seen in the photos provided. There are also scratches, nicks and other smaller crack repairs present (all of which can be seen clearly in the detail photos provided). With that said the solid teak frames and legs are in overall very good shape and the woodgrains are absolutely mesmerizing in natural light. As purists, we strive to keep our pieces in as original condition as possible. However we offer a full-range of expert restoration services from carpentry to upholstery to fabrication. If you're interested in having this set of Møller 77...
