Offered is a custom made sectional sofa by Vladimir Kagan. This was custom ordered by the original owner at a cost of over $40k. There are four sections total. They can be arranged as pictured, or can be configured as one larger sofa and loveseat. Fully supported on Kagan’s trademark lucite bases, giving the sofa a wonderful floating appearance. Not dissimilar from his famous Omnibus designs, we personally love this design even more due to its fully floating appearance. Upholstered in a beautiful, high-end fabric by Knoll called “Rivington”. Designed by the creative director of Knoll Textiles, Dorothy Cosonas, the Rivington line was inspired by the visionary textile designer Bernat Klein. Designed in the 1960s, the Omnibus has remained as one of the most prolific and unique sectional sofa designs spanning all decades since, celebrated by modern design and art collectors alike. The 'Standard Hotel' in Los Angeles designed their entire lobby lounge in pink fabric Omnibus sectional sofas from Kagan. Each piece possesses a Vladimir Kagan Designs inventory tag with Kagan's signature and corresponding registration codes that match up to the original receipt which we have a photo of and can be provided upon purchase. The total cost in the receipt was $22,350 (which included one extra piece) plus the cost of fabric which was supplied by the client.
