The drawers are framed by delicate feather-banding and retain their high-quality, period-correct brass batwing escutcheons and drop handles. The chest sits upon its original stand, which houses a single deep long drawer above a beautifully shaped, arched apron. Most of the Dutch Masters plied their trade during this Golden Age, Johannes Vermeer being possibly the most well known and popular.
