This custom made, one-of-a-kind Louis XV style Rococo wall console was handcrafted by a master artisan in the South of France using antique wood and an original 18th-century giltwood curtain pelmet. Painted in a softly aged creamy white, the console incorporates the richly gilded pelmet, showcasing the exuberant curves and carved ornament synonymous with the French Rococo.
The shaped apron features a central rocaille-framed cartouche with scrolling acanthus, clustered roses, and expressive S- and C-curves, all masterfully carved in the 1700s and preserved with an authentically time-worn patina.
