French mid-20th century seven drawer kneehole desk with a black lacquered finish inset with bronze framed cream-white parchment panels on the corners wrapping around from back to front. Bronze mounts on the feet and escutcheons, with five original beautifully cast bronze keys with sailboat motifs.
A very handsome and elegant desk, wonderful craftsmanship.
