A contemporary Belgian design, handcrafted in natural plaster with a textured, earthy character. The surface is stain-resistant, easy to maintain, and pleasantly soft to the touch, unlike the cold feel of natural stone.
Standard version for indoor use. Outdoor finish available on demand. (+20%).
Latin adjective “columna” /koˈlum. na/: column, pillar
Each piece is built on a wooden base and finished by hand with multiple layers of Mortex®, a premium plaster known for its durability in demanding applications such as bathrooms, stairs, and swimming pools. Mortex contains no epoxy or polyurethane resins.
The plaster is applied using the a fresco method: Each layer is applied before the previous one has fully set, creating a perfect bond and a rich, seamless surface. The result is a tactile object with depth, warmth, and individuality. Subtle irregularities, natural shades, and variations are the signature of the craftsman, ensuring that no two tables are ever the same.
Thanks to its understated, versatile character, the table integrates beautifully into a wide range of interior styles: from wabi-sabi and japandi to brutalism, minimalism, or contemporary design.
Available in more than 80 colours, with endless options in size and shape. Samples are recommended, as slight variations in tone and texture are inherent to the artisanal process and the living nature of the material.
