It measures 14.5" H x 16.5" W. Lillian Lent lived and worked in the Woodstock Artist colony in New York. She attended the Tyler School of Fine Art in Philadelphia. In 1959, she was awarded first prize for one of her paintings from the Albany Museum. This magnificent engraving depicts a fishing scene in the middle of a landscape with lush vegetation. In the foreground of this scene is a man standing fishing. At his feet a young woman and a child are looking at the water. Further back on the right, there is another fishing scene, this time with two men. The whole is immersed in nature.
