This fine and impressive vintage pearl necklace displays two strands comprised of eighty-six individually knotted cultured pearls.
This fine double stranded pearl necklace secures to the reverse with an impressive hallmarked 18k yellow gold cluster clasp featuring a central cultured pearl.
The feature pearl to the clasp is encompassed with twelve individually collet set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
This diamond halo is flanked with alternating pearls and collet set round faceted cut blue sapphires, totalling 1.92cts.
The outer circumference of the clasp is embellished with eleven further collet set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The clasp secures with an integrated push fit fastening, ornamented with a further diamond, completing the cluster design.
The clasp has is hallmarked to the reverse with the maker's mark (LDV), the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18k gold fineness mark ( 750 ), the international convention gold guarantee mark (750 and scales), the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 1990 (Q); the piece also bears the designer's signature 'de Vroomen'.
