A sumptuous assemblage of lustrous, oversized, baroque pearls with a magnificent and weighty gemstone at the clasp. Hardware is 18K Gold. Nicolas Varney kindly wrote us with the following explanation:
"[It] was an early piece. It's one of 2. That clasp would probably be green beryl, if I remember correctly. It's a piece that I enjoyed making. It took me further in a direction I liked."
Green beryl is a pale form of the noble precious stone, the emerald.
