Snake Ring Silver Serpent Emerald Ruby Double Head Sculptural Vintage Designer: J DAUPHIN Silver snake ring in solid silver, a one of a kind vintage 2011 serpent ring by J Dauphin, built from intertwined serpent bodies that knot into a sculptural structure with open negative space, one head set with emerald eyes and the opposing head with ruby eyes and a marquise cut pale stone worked into the textured scales. Handmade in Los Angeles and in vintage condition with light surface wear and patina from age, it is approximately a US size 7 ( Could be 7.5 ) The double headed serpent looks two ways at once, holding opposing directions in balance, and the snake renews itself by shedding its skin. Emerald carries growth and the heart, and ruby carries vitality and strength. J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin, who started her career at Fendi and Tod's in Italy. A multiple award winning accessory and jewelry designer, she has stocked her collection at Bergdorf Goodman, Le Bon Marché, Matches, and Lane Crawford, and has done custom work for Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, and royalty all over the world. Her jewelry, accessories, and celebrated repurposed vintage jackets are made by artisanal methods, treated as modern talismans for empowerment and spiritual alignment.
