After the Spanish Civil War, he went into exile in Latin America, residing first in Buenos Aires and later in São Paulo, where he taught printmaking and co-founded the Grupo Bisonte. His work, with both European influences and local echoes, is represented in museums such as the MNAC and in international collections.
