Set of 7 pcs: 2 large totems and 5 small totems.
The sculptural lamps designed by Eduard Locota had such a powerful impact in the interior design industry; they are being replicated by thousands all over the world.
The unnatural combination between wood and acrylic glass, a fusion between wood, resin and light, that embrace and complete each other in a frozen surreal way.
A variation of Shou Sugi Ban – an ancient Japanese technique of preserves wood by charring it with fire was used. Shou Sugi Ban mixed with transparent and opaque acrylic glass of red, green, blue, violet, turquoise coloring create a spectacular vibrant interior.
As an artist, I believe Imperfection is Beauty. All the pieces are 100% unique, handmade and distinct, with imperfections and burning names that describe their petrified flaming cores.
A minimalistic luxurious exterior, with a violent and destructive interior. Everything materially unnecessary was eliminated, and all emotions were frozen in time.
