Mia Van Rooy is my mom. At age 89, she is a flower and a rock. She posed for me in her village of Kieldrecht, Belgium, in the middle of a pear orchard, early spring.
After obtaining a master’s degree in Political Science, Wim Van Cappellen started his career as a documentary photographer. He won numerous international photo awards and at age 35, he started a photo production agency in Brussels, Belgium. Since early 2021, Wim returned to his original passion as a fulltime photographer. His mission is to help NFT photography grow as a core team member of Obscura, celebrating life through images.
