I think there are plenty of ways to interpret this work. I spent 6 months revisiting this same illustration wondering how to add bits and pieces of my inner mind to make it complete. I truly feel like it represents an uncomfortable chapter in my life - filled with confusion, anger, and sadness. Throughout these times I had to find my “happy place” which often left me staring at a documentary narrated by David Attenborough. Thanks to an amazing set of noise canceling speakers I was able to submerge myself into the world and for once, relax. Now I feel able to allow my heart to create whatever strokes it wants to, thus, a Paranormal Satisfaction.
