Beach Blond Tudor

In the heart of East Hampton Village, this Tudor style home on a triple lot was passed over by multiple buyers unable to see past its dark and dingy condition. A young couple with a background in architectural preservation saw through the gloom, realized the potential and closed the deal. After a two year renovation both pre and during COVID quarantine, the finished home retains the vintage charm they fell in love with, but radiates an updated beachy bleachy blond look perfect for both winter and summer living.

Custom metal windows, an updated exterior paint palette for home and garage, and a refreshed relaxed outdoor style create a bright first impression. Inside, vintage dark oak beams and staircase moldings were bleached blond, and we added new blond oak floors throughout.

The sea greens, sky blues and beachy sand color palette is drawn directly from the client’s extensive art collection. Nothing like a day at the beach to give you a new fresh glow.
