Gold Coast Masionette
The design directive was to create a home that provided a backdrop for the couple’s extensive contemporary art collection while also sourcing bold furniture and fabric selections. We worked with von Weise Associates and Snaidero to design a new state of the art kitchen.
The existing wood paneled library was painted a punchy peacock color; a hand painted tortoise shell inspired ceiling punctuates the drama.
The Primary Bedroom was designed as a quite sanctuary with soft neutral colors used throughout. The client selected works in shades of white by Anthony Pearson and Leonardo Drew to reinforce the serene feeling.
The Family Room is home’s central hub and features a whimsical aubergine Campagna Brothers Bolotas Chair from Carpenters Workshop and a rich blue mohair sofa sectional. The suede, black cirused oak and metal cabinets were custom designed for the space.
The Kid’s Room is a playful rock and roll fantasy. The client’s vintage record albums, Woodstock poster, Agam and Peter Max pop art live with Marilyn Minter’s amazing lips and the dreamy Fornasetti clouds.
