Jeffries Point

Apartment by Becky Bratt Interiors in Boston, MA

This is a two bedroom new construction condo in the Jeffries Point area of Boston. We began working on it when it was still in the development phase, selecting the Kitchen stone and Pendants, as well as the Primary Bath tile. As the rest of the the unit was a blank slate, we focused heavily on curating furniture, rugs, decor, art and accessories - the goal was to create a space that felt layered and textural, and as if it had been collected over the span of many years. We leaned heavily into sourcing vintage and antique pieces for art and accessories - the patina of one-of-a-kind pieces against the white walls and black mullioned windows created somewhat of a gallery-effect here, while still feeling lived-in. We designed custom built-bookshelves to anchor the fireplace in the living room, and added a slate-colored grasscloth to the walls of the Primary Suite, which transformed that room into an enveloping, moody, retreat.
