Loft Conversion

Family Home by CG Interiors Group in Atlanta, GA

The design of an industrial loft in a circa 1936 telephone factory makes full use of the contrasts between hard surfaces and soft finishes. Silk curtains, 16' long, spill onto concrete floors, with salvaged furnishings topped by a 16-arm Venini Cloud chandelier. A laser-cut table, a prototype introduced at the Milan Fair, sits next to a worn overstuffed chair, while a 17th Century saint provides a perfect counterpoint to Kartell's Bourgie lamp.

Local artwork hangs throughout, an homage to the area's artistic hub.
