FALCONE - Life is Beautiful - Infinity
Located in PARIS, FR
Limited Edition, Light box Falcone is a self-taught artist and designer with deep roots in the history of art. The art foundation of his grandfather, passionate about geometric and kinetic works, was the playground of his childhood. Carmelo Arden Quin's unstructured paintings intrigued him, he played with the reliefs of Agam and those of Soto. Circles, squares, endlessly supported by shape and color, lead him to go further, to multiply the image without end. He positions his creations between experience and contemplative work. The artist chooses LEDs, neon lights, optical fibers...

Green Spin Pop Art Butterfly Gold Mirror with Diamond Dust / Punk Me Tender #220
Located in Greenwich, CT
Punk Me Tender (b. 1982) is a French street artist whose brightly colored work explores themes of love, beauty, sensuality, and desire. Born Romain Lefebvre in Paris, France, he immigrated to Los Angeles at the age of 18. There, he was introduced to street art by fellow artist, Mr. Brainwash. The pair worked together creating art for over 15 years. Today, Punk Me Tender’s work melds techniques of street art, graffiti, photography, and fashion. His bold three-dimensional mixed media creations often use a silhouette of a butterfly as his focal point amid explosions of color and texture. Spun art is one of the major techniques the artist employs in the work. On his work he explains “the technique I use is itself a transformation: I lay down colors over white butterflies, and watch them transform.” “The same way a butterfly is born, and how it transforms itself from a chrysalis– my whole body of work is based on that” Inspired by the anonymity of Mr. Brainwash and Banksy, Romain began to work under the pseudonym, Punk Me Tender, a name derived from his great love for the legendary singer Elvis Presley and electronic duo Daft Punk. He has held residencies at the SLS Hotel South Beach, Nobu, Astra, Club MIami, and the Kiss Kiss...

Located in Atlanta, GA
Elegant eglomisé mirrored glass panel painting by Leon Masson (1911 - 1987). This finely etched plaque features a young naked woman on a balcony with a blackbird. The background's details show a lush landscape with a town or village on the hillside. The engraved artist's signature is in the bottom right corner. The eglomised mirror panel is encased into two sheets of clear glass, then framed with a contemporary blackened carved wood frame with Renaissance style. Measurements: With frame: 18.19 in wide (46.5 cm) x 21.44 in high (54.5 cm). Plaque size: 10 in wide (25.5 cm) x 13.19 i. high (33.5 cm). Please note that all the nuances of colors visible on the mirror panel are due to the reflections of the objects and the environment around the piece. The photos of the plaque taken flat reflect the exact color of the painting. Biography: Léon Masson (1911-1984) was a painter, illustrator, sculptor, and creator of jewelry and decorative objects. He was born in Simiane near Aix-en-Provence, France. Some of his works were acquired by the Louvre Museum in Paris. He produced sculptures for the Montreal Olympic Games in 1976. "Primary Urchin" Colorful, decorative patterns with dimensional paint on glass
Located in Philadelphia, PA
This piece titled "Primary Urchin" is an original artwork by PJ Linden and is made from dimensional paint on mosaic glass tile. This piece measures 5.5”h x 5”w. Based upon patterns and textures found in nature, primarily aquatic life, the natural rough, granulated surfaces of shark and stingray skins, urchin spines and fish scales, as well as the markings and colorations serving to repel predators, Linden creates second skins or aposematic pelts, employing them as unconventional canvases. Born 1985 Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. PJ Linden is a New York City and Pennsylvania-based fine artist known for her abstract, three-dimensional work. She paints with machine-like precision, creating microscopic patterns on found objects, fashion, and technology. Linden got her start working with Patricia Field, creating custom, one-of-a-kind art and fashion under the name Wonderpuss Octopus. At Field's iconic, namesake boutique, Linden's work caught the eye of celebrity clients including Beyonce, Willow Smith, Kelly Osborne, and Solange Knowles...

Untitled
Located in Toronto, Ontario
Caviar20 is excited to be offering this striking collage by the inimitable Louise Nevelson, who is regarded as one of the most original, influential, and successful American sculptors of the 20th century. Nevelson's enduring appeal lies in her distinct visual language, which is apparent in all of her works, regardless of medium. While her iconic monochromatic wood assemblages are instantly recognizable, she continuously experimented with diverse materials, including resin, steel, and bronze, as well as numerous printmaking techniques. Collage was an important part of Nevelson's practice, defining her signature aesthetic. Much like her approach to printmaking, her collages possess a sculptural ethos that transcends the two-dimensional surface, imbuing the composition with a remarkable sense of volume, texture, and depth. One could argue that Nevelson's sculpture was informed by collage in that she took assorted existing forms combining them in order to create an entirely new and distinct arrangement. This untitled collage is an exceptional example of the artist's mastery of the medium. Featuring an assemblage of wood veneer, mirror, and metal, this work reflects Nevelson's meticulous sense of form and rhythm. Subtle details, such as the alternating direction of the wood veneer grain further heighten the visual complexity of the otherwise minimal composition. The inclusion of wood veneer marks a notable shift for Nevelson, who was previously loyal to a strict monochromatic palette of black or white. It wasn’t until the 1970s with her experimentation in collage that she expanded her palette. Nevelson also created jewellery and this collage acknowledges her activity in that realm. Created at the age of 83 during the final chapter of her career, this piece powerfully captures Nevelson's enduring spirit and dedication to artistic innovation. Today Nevelson's work can be found in every major public collection across North America and beyond. Questions about this piece? Contact us. Visit our Toronto gallery on Thursdays or by appointment. (144.8 x 83.8 x 58.4cm) Provenance: Malcolm Forbes collection The artist Loren Munk (born 1951) is primarily known for his YouTube nickname James Kalm as an uploader of videos about New York exhibitions, amongst others. He presents himself as a maker of contemporary paintings for several decades and of cubist paintings of urban imagery. Munk has received accolades for his drawings and mosaics. He differs from traditional mosaic artists by the manner in which he incorporates glass into his decorative paintings. His unique and innovative use of materials such as mirror, gold-leaf and glass mosaic affirmed him as a founding force of Kitsch Art and a leading member of New York Neo-Expressionism. Munk's work debuted in SoHo in 1981 with a double show at J. Fields Gallery and Gabrielle Bryers. Since then, he has overseen an international career. In addition to exhibiting in Brazil, France, Germany and the United States, Munk has received national and overseas, public and private commissions. He is well represented in important collections throughout Europe, South and North America and the Middle East.
