About Artist
Bakare Babatunde, born in Ogun State, Nigeria, is a dynamic artist whose journey in the world of art has been shaped by a rich cultural background. Completing his higher education in Lagos State, Nigeria, Bakare earned a Higher National Diploma in Library and Information Science, laying the foundation for a unique artistic perspective.
Bakare's artistic evolution began with pencil drawing, a modest start that eventually led him to experiment with various mediums. Among these, oil color, acrylic, and Ankara fabrics on canvas emerged as his favored mediums, allowing him to explore the depth of his creative vision. Primarily focusing on figurative painting and portraiture, Bakare's work delves into the intricacies of human expression and identity. His art becomes a canvas for the narratives of emotions and cultural appreciation.

Born in 1962 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, Sebastien De Ganay studied political science and film at Columbia University in New York 1986-1990 ( (Bachelor of Political Science, Master of Fine Arts in Cinema) and is co-founder and editor of the art book publishing house onestar press. In addition to numerous exhibition participations, including the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Landesmuseum Österreich in St. Pölten, Austria, the Institut Français in Vienna showed a comprehensive solo exhibition of the artist in 2014. In 2017, de Ganay realized a highly acclaimed installation for the Kunsthalle Krems. de Ganay lives and works in Austria.
de Ganay produces minimalist abstract art works, painting, relief and wall sculpture. Sculptures made of aluminum, linen fabric, plastic, oil painting, wood and other materials. de Ganay joins a tradition of experimental artists. In this sense, for example, the Achromes by the Italian Arte-Povera artist Piero Manzoni, created in the 1960s, point the way for de Ganay's examination of folded linen fabric.
"The process of de Ganay's Painting is the process of thought itself; it is a process which turns not away from painting, but towards it. And rather than seeing painting as closure, he presents his work to us as a space of multiple openings, layers, shadows and reflections. Painting is, as much as an object or a process, a state of flux."
(Adrian Searle, art critic for The Guardian, London (1994)) In the style of Readymades and Arte Povera, de Ganay starts out from a simple utility material and combines this with an examination of the surface in the tradition of Minimal Art. He designed a limited edition chair "PLEASE" a “4 Piece Chair” customized by John Baldessari, Lawrence Weiner and Rirkrit Tiravanija.

“When I look at my paintings, I’m taken back to my childhood of endless doodling on my bedroom floor,” the artist describes.
His work has been featured in the Spanish arts and culture magazine Lamono and was selected as the cover art for the Spring 2019 issue of New England Review. Lennartsson has exhibited extensively in both group and solo shows worldwide, including in the US, Canada, Europe, Japan, and China.

This is a textile wall hanging tapestry "painting" made from vintage jeans.
JJ had a masters (MFA) from Prat and studied at Hunter college for many years. He was a master jeweler and goldsmith for 50 years, a musician and a photographer. He made a living working with photography, jewelry, bronze sculpture and antique restoration. An artwork in denim fabric by a French Post War & Contemporary artist living in New York City, Jean de la Verrière, An untrained, art brut, 'outsider' artist, now 85. He sold some of his denim patriotic flag works through OK Harris gallery in Soho in the 1980s, one went directly to Ralph Lauren, according to the artist. He is also known for sculpture. particularly his working model, fully functional guillotine sculptures. Artist says he was influenced by Pop Art particularly Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns works. He was in the New York art world along with his artist friends Bernar Venet, Arman and Claude Gillie. He fabricated and cast jewelry for some of his friends. This has a Sterling Ruby feel to it but was done a generation earlier. Roseleen Labazacchy is a true Nigerian born in the year 2000 and based in Ibadan, Oyo state Nigeria. Roseleen holds a National Certificate of Education in Fine Art from Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo State.
She is a mixed-media painter. Roseleen was exposed to art from a very young age; Her father being an artist himself enrolled her in the popular Nike Art Gallery at a very young age to learn traditional Adire making, a skill she still practices to date.

Petra was born 1963 in Wathlingen near Celle, Germany, and breaks completely new ground with her abstract forms of painting and expression. After studying fashion design at the professional school for clothing in Bremen, 1980, Petra Rös-Nickel changed her field of study to architecture in Eckernförde, 1982. She now lives in Hamburg, Germany. Preferring the creative aspects of the studies to the technical ones, the artist developed the basics of her painting, never denying the roots of applied design and soon ending in a refreshing, distinctive style.
Petra Rös-Nickel experiments with form, along with the use of a technique that draws attention to the processes used in creating a painting. Essential is the color space presented in multiple layers that offers the beholder access to more profound color planes. These details, scratchings, and rubbings lead to various elements of tension, such as “patchwork” or harmonious-contemplative forms (“windows”) and “oscillating lines”.
