Outsider Art Wall Sculpture: 'Numbers'
Located in New York, NY
Gérard Cambon was born in 1960 in Toulouse (Fr). He has a degree in political science and is a self-taught artist. In the earlier years of his life practiced and experimented with collage and model making. Later, with an interest in old machines and patinas he started collecting old and used objects, tools, and fragments of items whose previous lives remained obvious. When he travels, one of his greatest pleasures is to find materials in antique shops or ironmongeries. In 1994, he began creating Locomobiles and reliefs and presented them to the public for the first time at “La Jeune Peinture,” a Parisian art fair. In 1995 , he stayed during 8 months in the hospital for eight months (leukaemia) where he began preparing and creating plans for new Locomobiles and reliefs. As his health improved, he committed himself to his artwork and during the same year met a Parisian gallery owner who decided to organize a solo show for him, Le Galerie Beatrice Soulie in Saint Germain des Pres. He has shown his work since 1996 in Paris and since 2000 in the United States (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle). He is currently being shown by galleries in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg , Denmark, and the United States. He keeps on trying out new materials (fabric, leather, glass, plants, metals,…) that he integrates into his bas-reliefs: traction engines...

Sons of Borr
Located in Detroit, MI
Inspiration for this triptych work is derived from a photograph made in Iceland and Norse origin mythology. Borr was the husband of Bestia and they had three sons Odin, Vili, and Ve. According to the legend, these three sons made heaven and earth. The Schinkel's work has underpinnings from a photograph they made at sunset from behind Icelandic waterfall Seljalandsfoss. The artists use of color fields gives rise to new beginnings and sparks timeless majestic feelings. The artists use their original artists process to achieve the illusion of three dimensions on 2D aluminum sheet metal. This mixed media work was made with the original artist process known known as Metalagram®. It was developed at the intersection of art + science, and old world skills + 21st century technology. The artists create sculpturally in layers rendering the dimensional interactive appearance viewers experience. The Metalagram® works appear differently from 180 degree vantage points and at varying angles of incidence as photons dance across the work. Lighting impacts this artwork with photons meeting the hand cut layered aluminum at different angles of incidence. Viewers' perception of the work changes as one navigates 180 degrees around the work. Spot lighting...

Rafael says of his work… "The damn circumstance of water everywhere..." Born and raised on an island like Cuba, with all its peculiarities, my work borders on an obsession with themes such as insularity, identity and freedom. I frequently make both historical and everyday symbols my own to describe and question the environment that surrounds me through work with a marked social cut. I make art with any resource and/or material within my reach while taking advantage of the energy of recoverable objects and mixing them with traditional and contemporary supports and technologies. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ Rafael Pérez...

White Silence
Located in Miami, FL
"White Silence" is a triptych created by Enrico Benetta in 2016. The painting comes unframed, with a total dimension of 28" x 59" x 5". This piece was made with acrylic paint, gesso, and corten steel - the signature materials that Benetta has become known for. Thanks to his excellent skills, the artist uses unconventional media to create truly unique artworks, that take the viewer to an aerial, restless dimension - despite the opposite nature of those materials. Benetta's work takes the heritage of Italian industrial design and fuses it with contemporary art, giving life to unique abstract pieces that spark the attention of art lovers worldwide. He studied Fine Arts in Venice, and his work has been featured in more than 25 exhibitions in the recent years, in addition to his collaboration with brands like...

Sacred Abstraction On Carved 3D Wood Panel
Located in Lake Worth Beach, FL
Sacred Abstraction, Royal blue, red and gold leaf on carved wood pane, signed on the back. Krzysztof (Chris) Sokolovski born in 1985 in Eisiskes in Lithuania. Visual artist creating neosacral art: paintings, luminous objects, installations, and monumental painting. He is a creator of the concept of neosacral art. Since 2003 he lives and creates in Poland. He graduated from Gdansk University of Technology (Faculty of Power Engineering) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (Faculty of Painting). Also, the artist took a course in clinical anatomy at the Medical University of Gdansk. Sokolovski has created neosacral chapels in Klebark Wielki (Poland) and in Salesian Sisters Convent in Jerusalem. Concept: Sokolowski wants to create modern sacral art founded on visual tradition and theologies of many cultures. “I think that abstract codification of faith is the prospective and only way to save serious attitude to contemporary human’s spirituality. It is fundamental for responsible usage of developing knowledge about the empirical world and for forming sensibility, which should be adequate to it. In my opinion, the progress of civilization cannot be holistic if it is mostly based on scientific and technological development – metaphysical sensitivity is necessary too. Empirical knowledge is confinement if we use it only for improving conveniences and gaining more knowledge. It is not enough for the evolution of mind, which should advance along with changes in our environment.” Individual Exhibition 2018 – “Neosacral Art”, Saris Museum, Bardejov, Slovakia 2018 – “Neosacral Art”, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Lublin, Poland 2018 – “Neosacral Art”, Gallery “Camaldolese Cellar”, Church in Bielany Forest, Warsaw, Poland 2018 – “Neosacral Art”, Museum of Mińsk Mazowiecki, Mińsk Mazowiecki, Poland 2017 – “Neosacral Art”, Zielona 13 Gallery, Łódź, Poland 2017 – “Neosacral Art”, the University of Warsaw Gallery, Warsaw, Poland 2017 – “Neosacral Art”, Bohema Gallery, Warsaw, Poland 2016 – “Neosacral Art”, Philosophy of Religion Department, University of Warsaw, Poland 2016 – “Neosacral Art”, Gallery of Association “Polish Community”, Warsaw, Poland 2016 – “Neosacral Art”, Exhibition-Conferential Centre, Białystok, Poland Selected group exhibition 2017 – “Deification of Body”, Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv, Ukraine 2017 – “Sokolovski / Wąsowski / Jędrzejko / Mazuś”, Bohema Gallery, Warsaw, Poland 2016 – “1st Pomeranian Biennial of Young Art”, Sopot, Poland 2016 – “Shape of Spirit”, Gallery of Mathematics and Computer Science Department, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland 2016 – “Diverted Reality”, Evelyn E. Fiber painting: 'La mémoire ne se perd pas'
Located in New York, NY
The brief text talks about memory, starting from 4 books e mixing 4 different languages: Italian, French, Greek and Sanskrit. The artwork’s material is a particular kind of recycled hard fabric that recalls paper. The duo was officially born in 2017 with the RAR project, which focuses on the value of the analogy in literature. At the heart of their investigation is the dynamic that leads reading to become writing, and other way the user to become a creator, a maker, mixing roles. The exchange that is established guarantees the transmission, that it goes beyond repetition and finds its completion in transformation. The eternity of an experience, whatever it is (physical, material, emotional, intellectual), is measured by its capacity to be an eternal breeding ground for discovery and knowledge. Their work was exhibited in solo shows by art galleries, such as Raffaella De Chirico Contemporary Art in Turin and Manuel Zoia Gallery in Milan, and in Art Fair such as ArtVerona and WOP in Lugano (CH). In 2021, they were finalists in the Cramum Award. Between October 2022 and January 2023, they took part in the World Textile Biennale – Italian Act, a series of three exhibitions curated by Barbara Pavan. In January 2023 they attended their first group show in New York at the Ivy Brown Gallery.
