One Queen (17), Royal Art, Contemporary Queen Elizabeth II Art, Digital Painting

By Agent X

Located in Deddington, GB

One Queen (17) is an Original on Canvas by Agent. ’One Queen (17)depicts silhouette of the Queen. Agent X digital artworks available with Wychwood Art online and in our gallery. Agent X creates the illusion of a cut-out to reveal a Baroque, floral painting underneath. With its bold composition of the antique with the contemporary, the artwork is a powerful transference of street to Canvas. Agent X, cultural explorer and agent of the unknown, creates experimental, multimedia collages, paintings, and 2D artwork. Described as ‘Pop Art with thought,’ Agent X juxtaposes pop culture, technology, fashion, and music in visually complex amalgamations expressing the anxieties of the global, post-modern world and the dark side of consumerist, media-obsessed culture. His work occupies a unique intersection between the aesthetics and philosophy of Futurism, the social critique of the Dada movement...

Located in Atlanta, GA

Amir Baradaran is a New York-based Iranian-Canadian ARtificial artist. As the Arts-Based Creative Research Associate and Adjunct Faculty at Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Baradaran is developing iBegoo, a multi-user software that supports artists with limited knowledge of game design and programing by streamlining and automating the process of writing for, directing, and producing interactive Augmented Reality (AR) experiences that include responsive characters enabled with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Baradaran is the recipient of the Knight Foundation Arts Award, Canada Council for the Arts New-Chapter & 150th Anniversary Prize, UC Berkeley Artist Residency (from Center for Critical Theory, New Media, Race and Gender Studies), International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality Future of Augmented Reality Prize, and Morgan Stanley Pulse Art Fair grant. As a researcher at Columbia University Computer Graphics and User Interfaces Lab and a member of the School of the Arts Digital Storytelling Lab, Baradaran’s praxis and writings focus on a critical {AR}ticulation of visual vocabularies that use AR and AI technologies around notions of interactivity, non-linear narrative formation, po{AI}try, data-mining, failed utopias, racialized and gendered bodies, infiltration, and the ephemeral. Baradaran is a TEDx speaker, and an invited presenter to His Holiness Dalai Lama’s World Headquarters in Dharamsala for the Summit on Fostering Universal Ethics and Compassion through Museums. Baradaran is the co-author of the chapter Augmenting Empathy and Decolonizing AR/VR Mediums: How Do We Reimagine Augmented and Virtual Reality Experiences?” (Ed. By Gokcigdem, 2019), the author of While Data Privacy Talks, Capitalism Walks: Urging for a Critical Take on the Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem, and the Rise of the Machine (Ed. By Johnathan Ball

Located in Toronto, ON

Original Giclee on canvas hand embellished and Hand Signed by Johnathan Ball Johnathan Ball has been working for more than 15 years to establish a style of painting that transforms the language of the street into a hybrid form of abstraction and urban realism. From the outset, JBall has sought to interpret his experience of cities that have served as crossroads in his life, from Toronto to New York to Miami the urban experience is a central theme in his work. Not always bound to one genre he also works from iconic images and film stills while purposefully engaging with the rich history of painting since the rise of abstraction in the 1950s. His work provides markers of time, engages the viewer with mood and line tracing the painting providing an artist lead tour of the work. JBall is also well known for his sculptural work. Sculpting anatomical forms using them as an entirely new canvas for his painting. His sculptures are an accent to his painted works, sometimes bringing levity. JBall is an active muralist working with community programs such as Toronto’s Street Art initiative, as well as private commissions. His notable patrons include The Mayor of Toronto, Universal Music, Blattner energy, and IMT Corporation. JBall (born Toronto, ON 1983) studied at York University, Toronto, where he received his Bachelors in Fine Arts degree, graduating with honors. He was also the recipient of the Ontario Arts Council emerging artist award. Johnathan is currently represented by the Liss Gallery...
