In addition to Palumbo’s renowned portfolio of animals, he explores shapes, objects, and humanity. From small humanoid figures balancing precariously on a skinny ledge, to a monumental sized safety pin, his works push viewers into a slightly zany world. He taps into mythology, philosophy, and idiom through pigs flying, sheep dancing, and bulls meditating. This imaginative realm lets the viewer contemplate oneself within the world we exist in
