As found in Denmark, we see this large oval Rococo pewter tray being used for grapes and cheese with a nice bottle of wine by its side.

As with this collection, the moulds would have been crafted from heavy pewter, and would comprise of a two-piece hinged apparatus with a delicate design (here fruit or floral).
