Suzanis, originating in Central Asia, were traditionally embroidered by brides and their families as part of their dowry.

This one is made from a fully embroidered Early 20th C, Suzani from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Central Asia.

Suzanis from the regions of Tashkent and Pishkent have some astral names such az ‘moon sky’, ‘Star Sky ‘.

This vibrant 1900s Suzani pillow was handcrafted in using traditional embroidery techniques passed down through generations.
