A rare Italian wall sconce from the 1970s, attributed to Longobard.
Rising to 29 inches in height, the form is vertical and composed, centered around a column of hammered glass that diffuses light into a soft, rippled glow. The glass carries subtle irregularities—each undulation catching and bending the light—so that illumination feels atmospheric rather than direct.
Encasing it, a hand-forged wrought iron frame unfolds in a series of delicate scrolls. The metalwork is both graphic and expressive, its linear rhythm punctuated by small circular elements in warm amber tones. These accents introduce color and a luminosity of their own, echoing the glow within the glass while extending the composition outward.
