Influenced by the glass and furniture of his fellow Nancy artist, Emile Galle, Majorelle was inspired to take his furniture production in a new direction.

Numerous pieces emerged from them, of high technical quality and very similar to those produced in Gallé's factory in Nancy: vases, lamps, and trinkets typical of Art Nouveau.

Working alongside artists of the École de Nancy, including Émile Gallé, Daum developed a distinctive style characterised by layered glass, intricate carving, and subtle coloration.

Numerous pieces were produced, of high technical quality and very similar to those made in Gallé's factory in Nancy: vases, lamps, and trinkets typical of Art Nouveau.
