Made by Hertha Bengtson for Rörstrand, Sweden, 1950s. Excellent condition. Signed 'Bengtson' and 'R' för Rörstrand.

A lovely teapot of model "The Chinese Teapot" designed by Signe Persson-Melin at Rörstrand. The teapot is 26 cm (10,4") long and 16 cm (6.4") tall.

In 1932, Rörstrand merged with Lidköping's porcelain factory, and later in the 1930s, the entire production of Rörstrand was moved to Lidköping.
