Salesman Samples Furniture

This is a rare set of salesman sample furniture made by Thonet, the master of bentwood furniture creator of the iconic bentwood chairs that altered the direction of furniture design.

This wonderful salesman sample is American from the 1800s. It has four drawers, bone columns and a subtle inlay all over and is very pretty.
