Benjamin Pelletier is a ceramic artist who was trained from a young age in his father Georges Pelletier's workshop. Fascinated by pottery, it felt quite natural for him to choose to continue the family legacy and preserve his father’s artistic vision. Since 1973, the workshop has produced unique ceramic 'sunlamps', which are at once sculpture and lamp. Glazes, perforations and goldwork constitute the signature aesthetic of the Pelletier tradition. The ceramic sculptures are worked up without the use of modern technology. In his work today, Benjamin preserves his father's work in every way, such as with his collaboration with Maison Tournaire for whom he produces the same pieces his father did. Each work reflects his passion for the craft and his pursuit of a harmonious composition – a constant tribute to his father’s legacy.
