Still bears the sticker of the boutique it was sold from "Charnaux, Maison des Trois Rois, Genève". The Trois-Rois house has housed several photography workshops. Before 1860, Auguste Garcin set up shop there but sold his business to Henri-Antoine Boissonnas around 1866-1867, who moved to the Quai de la Poste in the 1870s.
