Painted while listening to Blues music, artist DL Watson created this radiant abstract using various tools to apply the paint. "The color palette is inspired by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, close to my home in South Florida," says DL.


About the Artist
DL Watson creates semi-abstract paintings with floral and botanical references. Splitting her time between Florida and Oregon, she finds inspiration in the patterns that repeat themselves throughout the natural world. While her paintings are often grounded in her own childhood memories and past experiences, they evoke a beauty that is universal in their natural subject matter. She creates interest and intrigue through the color and movement that she uses to balance her composition.
