Donna Bernstein Paintings
Donna Bernstein is a native New Yorker, and her natural inclination for horses appeared at a young age. With great sensitivity and intuition she watched horses in her area, studying their form and anatomy with youthful intensity. Her signature clean style is both modern in structure yet deeply intimate, appealing to both the horse lover and formal art collector. The form of the horse, she says, is an unlikely blend of pure sensuality supported by uniquely architectural anatomy. With uncanny simplicity and a style unlike any other her works celebrate this kinetic marvel and evoke the horse’s universal qualities of power and vulnerability, compassion and forward movement.
