This work was executed between 1928 and 1929 when Maclet worked in Brittany before returning to Picardy. Signature: Signed lower right. Dimensions: Framed: 28"x32" Unframed: 20"x24" Maclet was born the son of a gardener and a laundress at Lihons in the Santerre region in Picardy.
