Elodie Dollat Art

b. 1981
Elodie Dollat is a French artist born in 1981 who lives & works in La Vallotte, France. With great sensitivity, Elodie Dollat learned to paint in the shadows of her studio, observing, soaking, and feeling what surrounds her, her past, and her present, and it is this undeniable talent that gives her the ability to give a fascinating life to the objects and nature around us. Elodie practices acrylic and oil on canvas but also on different media such as aluminum, and wood; and uses various materials and textures for ever more true relief. The artist has a special interest in volume and composition, attentive to reflections and light as well as matter.

By Peter Kuttner

Located in Los Angeles, CA

The organic aesthetic and textures of Peter Kuttner’s original boho minimalist artworks are the result of patient layering and unique uses of media. Through a combination of collage and paint, Kuttner is able to find personal expression in the clear colors and contrasting soft textures he creates. This artwork is part of Kuttner's "Cut-Out" series where the artist uses a process, not unlike that of Matisse late in his career. The economy of design and the utilitarian simplicity therein allow for the creation of simple, archetypal pieces. This one-of-a-kind mixed media painting measures 24 inches square. It is wired and ready to hang. It is signed by the artist on the back and initialed on the front. The sides of this artwork are painted and it does not require framing. Convenient local Los Angeles delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and international shipping are available. This artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by the gallery. Kuttner’s artworks have been featured in Architectural Digest Magazine as well as in popular films and television shows including Two and a Half Men, Californication, and Nashville. Presently, Kuttner’s work is on display in a large number of private, royal, museum, and corporate collections worldwide. Artplex Gallery has been representing and exhibiting Kuttner's original artworks since 2021. The gallery has been a 1stdibs partner since 2014 with consistently excellent reviews from clients worldwide. The gallery exhibits a well-curated selection of original artworks representing a broad spectrum of major international artists.
