(paper) The book Lettera amorosa is the result of a collaboration between the poet René Char and Georges Braque. Char's poems and Braque's illustrations dialogue with intelligence and grace. After the printing of the book, Braque chose some plates for an independent edition from which the lithograph we propose is issued. This illustration project was of great interest to Braque from 1958 to 1963, the date of book publication and of our lithograph.
