Jess Hon is a Malaysian photographer born in 1957 who lives and works in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Jess has been taking landscape photographs for the last 18 years. To date he has taken about 23,000 photographs, around 16,000 were taken last 5 years. His nature is to look at the beautiful side of things and for this reason, he is quick in spotting things and views that are beautiful and unique. During photo-shooting his focus is primarily on reading the natural lighting and composition. He is an approved contributor to Shutterstock which is one of the two largest online photography shops in the world. He took part in the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival in Sept 2022. He is a regular participant in the annual photography competition organized by Smithsonian Magazine. The artist is more into landscape photography and he pays close attention to capturing images from unusual angles and coming up with compositions that are unique.
