Marjorie Cathcart Art
Marjorie Cathcart held a bachelor of fine arts degree at the University of California, Berkeley, 1943. She studied with Lundy Siegriest, Catherine Hagen, Tom Holland and Anne O’Hanlon and was influenced by Wayne Thiebaud. Cathcart taught at the California College of Arts and Crafts. She exhibited at the California State Art Exposition; the Jack London Fair; 1st place at California State Fair 1967; and Annual International Art Festival, San Francisco. Cathcart was listed in Edan Hughes, Artists in California, 1786–1940; Women Artists of the American West; Yesterday's Artists of the Monterey Peninsula; Monterey: The Artist's View, 1925–1945; and Artists of the American West.
