Steel chromed and glass squared table by Gastone Rinaldi for Rima 60s Gastone Rinaldi was born in Padua in 1920. He initially worked for the Rima company founded by his father Mario Rinaldi in 1916. In his work as a designer he was able to come into contact with many of the major Italian designers, including Giò Ponti, Carlo Mollino, Alberto Rosselli, Franco Campo and Carlo Graffi, Michele De Lucchi and Marco Zanuso. In 1954 he won the Compasso d'Oro Award with the DU30 chair produced by Rima. In 1974 he founded the company Thema.
