Danish modern executive desk by Arne Vodder for Sibast made of Rosewood, circa 1960s. The main desk features two drawers (tray & file storage) and on the back, a compartment with two shelves. The return desk features a sliding door with shelves, 5 lacquered trays, and a drawer. This mid-century modern desk is in good condition with some wear on the colored lacquered pull trays as seen in the images.

"Arne Vodder was born in Denmark in 1926. In 1951 Arne opened his own architectural studio with fellow architect Anton Borg, successfully designing approximately 1100 low-cost houses. After this, Vodder transitioned to designing furniture due to the international acclaim Denmark was receiving for it’s furniture throughout the 1950’s and 1960's. Vodder's most famous furniture designs include a handleless rosewood sideboard with drawers, and Vodder's chaise longue produced by Bovirke.
