Hand-crafted by Aaron Saxton. 30.25" tall, 46.5" deep and 83.75" wide oval upon a pedestal base. This is a singular example is produced in red oak which deviates from the typical woods I normally use for my complex radial designs. Produced in Red Oak from a single flitch of wood; I wanted to experiment with a lighter approach to dining giving a room a brighter more cherry atmosphere than the darker and more serious walnut and rosewood I normally use. The result speaks for itself in this lovely table. Built to incredibly strong specifications with a top 1.5" thick and guaranteed to never sag and rested upon a monumental base with linear wood patterns intended to resemble to trunk of a tree. Flat cut crown wood is used for the top showing flares within the radial design, while a quarter sawn cut is used on the base. Lots of knee clearance for guests, easily sits 8 people. The edges are solid lumber with a rounder on the top and bottom, to provide a sleek appearance as well as comfort to diners. This table weighs about 250 pounds and is entirely sturdy.
