David Scott creates innovative and artful design in an array of styles for top clients in New York City, The Hamptons and beyond. An expert in luxury interior design and avid collector of contemporary art, each of David Scott’s projects are a reflection of his discerning eye and impeccable service.
David established his firm, David Scott Interiors, LTD in 1991 with a belief that interiors should reflect the style and personality of its owner, not simply its designer. It is the natural connection a client has with their home that has inspired David over the past 20 years, resulting in a portfolio of inviting environments, each highly personal.
Visually stimulating, yet extremely functional, David’s interiors gracefully meld the timeless elegance of the past with today’s modern life. His interiors are a thoughtful mix of eminence and ease, where practical architecture, luxurious furnishings and emerging art and craft
harmoniously coexist. For David, each project is a passionate journey and the client is invited along, for each step of the way. It is this collaborative and detail-oriented approach that has become a signature of David’s distinguished style.

David is an alum of the prestigious New York School of Interior Design and currently serves on the Board of Trustees. A resident of both Manhattan and Sag Harbor, David’s homes are filled with an eclectic mix of vintage and modern furnishings and art.
