Amorphous Candles in White Shagreen-Textured Wax & Brass by Patrick Coard Paris
By Patrick Coard
Located in New York, NY
The Cream Amorphous brass sculptural candle collection is the first design and now iconic signature collection within the universe of Patrick Coard Paris. These candle are intended to be lit and due to its unique formula, a small diameter will be created as it burns so that overtime one will not lose the overall sculptural shape as it burns. Over time as the candle burns one will also be able to see the metal from inside, which creates a glow effect. Discover the family of sculptural candles to complete your collection. Sold as a group or separately, each candle is available in cream or black. The unique shagreen textured wax is original to the collection as well as the brass inserts. These candles are not only functional pieces but a work of art.

Storyteller:
Mr. Anderson, a successful businessman, and his daughter, Lily, made their home in a stately rural manor. Over the years, Mr. Anderson amassed a collection of rare paintings and priceless vases, which he proudly displayed in his home.
Mr. Anderson was perusing an antique shop one day when he stumbled upon a pair of gorgeous French opaline glass lusters. These goblet-shaped lusters were gilded in pink and white-hued glass and hand-made in France between 1850 and 1900.

Seeing her interest, her father proceeded to educate her about the origins of opaline glass and the meaning of its lusters.
They put their heads together and discovered that opaline glass was specially designed to create elaborate chandeliers...
